A bundle groups two to five of your products together with a discount, so Arbyn can suggest them as a set and drop the whole thing into a shopper's cart in one tap. Built inside Arbyn: there's no separate bundles app to install, and no theme code to touch.
What it does
You build and manage bundles from the Bundle builder page. Each bundle you create can surface in two places: inside a chat conversation, when a related product comes up or a shopper asks something like "what else goes with this?", and as a card on the widget's Perks tab. You choose where, per bundle, and Arbyn only ever offers what you've configured.
Where to find it
Go to Sales, Bundle builder (or tap the Bundle builder card from the Sales page).
Setup (step by step)
Tap New bundle.
Give it a name. This is for your own reference; shoppers never see it.
Choose how the bundle picks its products:
Fixed: you pick two to five specific products from your catalog, and Arbyn always offers exactly those.
Collection-based: you point Arbyn at one or more collections, and it picks two to five available products from them fresh, at the moment it offers the bundle. Useful when you'd rather not hand-curate a bundle for every collection, and want some variety across conversations.
If you chose Fixed, pick your products (two to five) from your Shopify catalog. If you chose Collection-based, set which collections Arbyn should draw from, and, optionally, which collections should trigger the offer in the first place (leave that blank to let it apply whenever a shopper shows collection-based interest generally).
Set the discount percent (0 to 90). This is the percentage off the bundle's subtotal at cart time.
Optionally, enter an existing Shopify discount code if you've already created one you want this bundle to use. Leave it blank and Arbyn creates and manages a reusable discount code for you automatically (more on this in the companion article on how bundle discounts work).
Choose Show in: Both (chat and the widget's Perks tab), Perks only, Chat only, or Off (saved but never shown to anyone).
Set any conditions that must be true before Arbyn offers the bundle: a minimum cart total, the customer's status (new, repeat, VIP, and so on), how long they've gone quiet, or a specific product already in their cart. Leave everything blank for "always offerable."
Set Max offers per conversation (1 to 5). This keeps Arbyn from re-offering the same bundle over and over in one chat; the default of 1 means it's brought up once.
Toggle Active, then Save.
How it works
Each bundle is a row on the Bundle builder page, showing its name and products, its discount, where it's set to show, its conditions in plain language, its cap, and its status (Active or Inactive). Use the Actions menu on any row to Edit, Pause or Resume, or Delete it.
"Show in" and the widget's Perks tab work together deliberately. A Perks card is meant for any shopper to take, with nothing to check first. So a bundle you've attached conditions to (a minimum cart total, a specific product required, and so on) will never show up as a Perks card, even if you've set "Show in" to include Perks: it stays in chat, where Arbyn can confirm the condition is actually met before offering it. This protects against a shopper tapping a perk they don't actually qualify for. An unconditional bundle ("always offerable") is free to appear in both places.
Pausing and turning "Show in" off are two different things, on purpose. Setting "Show in" to Off keeps the bundle saved and configured, just not shown anywhere; you might do this while you're still setting up the products or discount. Pausing a bundle (its Status) is the broader switch: it hides the bundle everywhere, in every channel, regardless of what "Show in" says, without deleting anything. Either one keeps shoppers from seeing it; which you reach for depends on whether you're mid-setup or temporarily stepping back from offering it at all.
Use Search and filter results above the list to narrow it down by Show in, When to offer, Cap, or Status. Selected filters show as chips you can clear individually, or all at once, so you can quickly find, for example, every bundle currently paused, or every one that shows in Perks.
Good to know
Bundles you created before this "Show in" and cap system existed keep working exactly as before. They were automatically set to Show in Both, so nothing you'd already configured disappeared.
A collection-based bundle draws a genuinely different set of products each time it's offered. If a product sells out or a collection changes, the next draw simply reflects your current catalog; there's nothing to update manually.
Deleting a bundle removes it entirely. If you just want to stop offering it for now, pause it instead.
FAQ
What's the difference between "Off" (Show in) and Pausing (Status)? "Off" means the bundle is otherwise active and configured, just not surfaced in any channel; you'd use this while still building it out. Pausing turns the entire bundle off everywhere, overriding "Show in," without deleting it. Both keep it hidden from shoppers; Pausing is the more complete stop.
Can I edit a bundle after creating it? Yes. Open the row's Actions menu and choose Edit. Changes apply going forward; a cart a shopper already built with the previous version of the bundle isn't affected retroactively.
What happens if a product in the bundle is sold out? Arbyn skips it and still adds whatever else in the bundle is available, letting the shopper know what didn't make it in rather than failing the whole offer.
Do I need to create the discount code myself? No, and this is worth its own article: see the companion piece on how bundle discounts actually work for exactly how Arbyn creates, reuses, and fences a bundle's discount code.
