Sales Skills

A guided tour of the Sales page, the catalog of revenue tools Arbyn can use inside a conversation, and how the numbers on each card are actually calculated.

How Arbyn's Sales skills work

Customer type: what Prospects, New, Repeat, VIP, At-risk and Churned actually mean

The two levers you have over which products Arbyn suggests: a never-recommend list for products or whole collections, and a slow-stock priority slider that gives sitting inventory a bounded nudge…

Recommendation controls: excluding products and nudging slow stock

Overview

How to create a bundle, choose where Arbyn is allowed to offer it, and control how often it comes up in a single conversation.

Building and managing product bundles

Where a bundle's discount code comes from, what it can and can't be used on, what happens if you delete it in Shopify, and how bundle pricing stays accurate across…

Product bundles: how the discount actually works

Only one discount applies per order. The Priority field on a bundle or a discount offer decides which one Arbyn saves, and what a shopper is told when the other…

When two offers could both apply, you decide which one wins

A collection-based bundle is assembled fresh at the moment a shopper accepts it, from your collections, at random, and nobody knows which products will land until then. What that means…

Collection-based bundles: how Arbyn picks which products go in

Bundles

How to build a guided product quiz, choose what a shopper gets at the end, and see it in action inside a real conversation.

Product quizzes: build one and manage them

How to control how many times a shopper can take a quiz, and what happens to the reward they earned if they close the chat before claiming it.

Quiz retake limits and reward recovery

How a match quiz counts votes and breaks ties, how a scored quiz turns points into a percentage and picks a tier, when the fallback product appears, and which mode…

Quiz result modes: how Match, Scored and Offer each turn answers into a result

The six reward types a quiz can hand out, why three of them arrive with a working code and a button and three arrive as text only, and what each…

Quiz rewards: which ones a shopper can actually claim, and which are just a promise

Quizzes

How to set up add-on recommendations Arbyn makes in chat, and how to configure the discount codes it's allowed to offer and apply on your behalf.

Chat upsell and Discount offers: recommending add-ons and applying discounts

How to give Arbyn a discount code it's allowed to offer in chat, called Discount offers in Sales Skills, which of your real Shopify discounts it can use, when, and…

Discount offers, giving your agent a discount it's allowed to use

What the Cap counts, why a declined offer still uses one up, why re-showing an offer a shopper asked to see again also counts, and why the Cap is not…

Cap: how many times Arbyn may bring the same offer up in one conversation

What After a pick and When asked about actually watch, why an upsell rule guides the agent rather than forcing it, how the follow-up discount decides someone declined, and why…

Chat upsell: how Arbyn decides when to recommend, and why it is a suggestion not a rule

Minimum cart total, Customer type, idle time and Cart must include this product, what each one measures, why they all have to be true at once, and what happens when…

When to offer: how the four conditions decide whether a discount or bundle goes out

Upsells & discounts

Have the chat widget open itself with a tailored opening message based on what a shopper is doing on your site, instead of waiting for them to click it.

Proactive triggers: opening chat at the right moment

Once per session, once per visitor, or every time with a cooldown, where each of those is remembered, and the honest answer to which trigger wins when two qualify: the…

How often a trigger fires, and what happens when two of them could fire at once

Each of the eight signals a proactive trigger can watch for, the exact thing it measures, the range and default of its setting, and the cases where a signal quietly…

When it fires: the eight trigger signals, one by one

The three audience filters on a proactive trigger, why they all have to be true at once, and the important detail behind Returning: today it means any second page load,…

This prototype demo is aware that you are reading “{title}”. It can point you back to the current article, but a production article-aware Fin contract is still follow-up work.

Prototype article-aware answer

Because you already asked about invitations, this prototype demo can add the follow-up: use the role selector before sending each invite to limit access to the teammate responsibilities.

Prototype role-limiting follow-up

This prototype demo suggests starting with your workspace profile, inviting the team members who need access, and then connecting the integrations you use.

Prototype getting-started answer

In this prototype demo, integrations are configured from workspace settings. Choose the integration, connect the account, and review the enabled permissions.
