Once in a while, after you approve an action or resolve a conversation, a small Shopify window appears asking how you would rate Arbyn. This explains when it shows up and why.
It is Shopify's window, not ours
The rating box is built and shown by Shopify, not by Arbyn. We only tell Shopify that this looks like a good moment to ask. Whatever you write goes to the Shopify App Store listing, and we never see it before it is published.
When it appears
Only after something has gone right. Specifically, after you approve an action Arbyn was waiting on, or after you resolve a conversation.
It will not appear after you decline an action or escalate a conversation. Those are the moments Arbyn needed you to step in, which is the wrong time to ask what you think of it.
We also wait until Arbyn has actually done some work for your store. If you installed recently, or Arbyn has not resolved much yet, you will not see it at all. Asking you to rate something you have not really used yet does not help either of us.
How often
Rarely. Shopify enforces the limits, not us: at most once in any sixty days, and no more than three times in a year. On top of that, Arbyn asks at most once per admin session, so resolving several conversations in a row will not keep bringing it back.
You will not see it on a phone or tablet. Shopify only shows it on desktop.
If you would rather not
Close it. Nothing happens, nothing is recorded against your account, and it will not reappear in that session. If you have already reviewed the app, Shopify will not show it to you again at all.
FAQ
Does dismissing it affect my app or my plan? No. It has no effect on anything.
Can I leave a review without waiting for the window? Yes. Go to the Arbyn listing on the Shopify App Store and review it there any time.
I saw it on my development store. Does that review count? No. Reviews from development stores are never published. Shopify shows a note on the window saying so.
